Sell Gold Coins in Arlington, TX
Gold coins are steady, liquid, and easy to value fairly, which makes them one of the simpler things to sell. Bring a lone coin or a full holding to our Arlington office, get a free appraisal on the spot, and leave the same day with cash or a same-day wire.
The main thing that separates one gold coin from another is whether it trades on metal alone or carries a collector premium. We weigh both on every coin, so a scarce older piece is never treated like ordinary bullion.

How gold coin offers are calculated
For a bullion coin like an Eagle or Maple Leaf, we start at the coin’s actual gold weight times the live spot price, then fold in the premium that coin trades at today. Larger, clean, recognizable groups get the closest spread to spot.
Older U.S. gold works differently. The date, mint, and grade often outweigh the metal, and a scarce or high-grade coin can sell for a genuine multiple of melt. Coins already in PCGS or NGC holders are priced right off published guides and recent auction results.

FAQ
Sell Gold Coins in Arlington, TX: common questions
What will you pay for a 1 oz Gold Eagle today?
A one-ounce American Gold Eagle is priced from the live gold spot price plus its current premium. Gold moves all day, so call 817-523-6260 for the current number or bring the coin in for a firm quote.
Could my old U.S. gold be worth more than melt?
Very possibly. Liberty, Indian, and Saint-Gaudens gold often trades over melt, particularly in scarce dates and higher grades. We assess each coin on its own instead of applying a flat metal price.
Why not just mail my gold coins to an online buyer?
Selling in person keeps the coins with you until you agree on a price, lets you watch the appraisal, and pays you that day. Mailing gold adds shipping risk and insurance limits and forces you to wait with no way to compare.
